ZAP Migrate currently supports Azure-to-Azure replication and brownfield governance — bringing existing ungoverned Azure resources under ZAP governance without migration. Both are production-ready.
Brownfield governance means ZAP can scan and govern existing resources that were deployed outside of ZAP — created via ClickOps, legacy scripts or inherited from acquisitions. ZAP scans them, surfaces findings and ZAP AI generates IaC remediation. No migration required — governance applied to resources where they sit.
On-premises to cloud and cloud to on-premises migration are on the ZAP roadmap. If data repatriation is a current requirement, speak to our team — we can advise on available options and likely timelines.
